A superb antique English mahogany George III Chippendale bureau cabinet in fantastic condition. The fall front bureau stands on ogee bracket feet and has four graduated drawers retaining their original filigree swan neck brass handles. The interior is beautifully fitted with a shaped front arrangement of small drawers and pigeon holes centering a central door that is flanked by two secret drawers with false leather book spines. The two door top with paneled doors and an architectural pediment with fretted dentils and a blind fret carved frieze. Circa 1770. 42″ wide, 23″ depth, 103″ high
